Updating old palm to usb sex dating in ostrander minnesota
Palm has begun a program for replacing old m500 series cradles with new ones that offer better protection from static electricity. After 2 hours of charging I tried the USB hotsync ... Although I'll be getting a refurbished unit tomorrow (per Airborne's webpage), at least I shouldn't have to get a 3rd replacement if this happens again.
According to Palm, this electrostatic discharge (ESD) disrupts the handheld enough that it is no longer able to Hot Sync. I haven't noticed a problem with the battery since the drain, (only one day, however).
If running a 32-bit version of Windows (Home Premium, Profession, Enterprise), then just install the Palm Desktop 6.22 (see link below) and use the standard 32-bit USB driver that comes with Palm Desktop 6.22. To see if you’re running Windows 7 64-bit, go to your computer icon and right click.
A menu will pop up – select properties and the screen shown below will pop up. For Windows 8.0/8.1 see this link for further instructions.
To see if you’re running Vista 64, go to your computer icon and right click.
Download the drivers and Extract them to the same folder. Choose "Browse My Computer for Software" and direct it to the folder you extracted the Aceeca drivers to.6.
Choose "Next" at the driver file location window, and then tell it to "Always trust software from Aceeca Ltd." then click the "Install" button.7. NOTE: Palm Desktop 6.22 may only show Media and Install.
Boy doesn't this kind of fix seem awfuly familiar?!
It's about the same as the fix to correct the under par screen on the M505. I don't want to be the only one who didn't succeed in it!
